Muangtong Church was planted in Muangtongthani, a satellite city of Bangkok by Good News Ministries in 1995. It is a centre for prayer and evangelism to share the gospel with thousands of unreached people in north Bangkok. The church has a strong emphasis on youth, and a vision to serve as a centre for children’s and youth evangelism.

During 2002 the church began a new outreach in a large urban residential area called Samakkee. There is no church in this area. Muangtong church has begun a cell group and English classes in this area. One boy, Bond, was baptised in water in October, and the following week his mother, Mrs Doi became a Christian.

Bangkok Ministry Centre

Muangtong Church in association with World Outreach Thailand is preparing for the future by setting up a multipurpose Ministry Center in Bangkok.
