Natawadee: I had a problem as my family are so very poor. It looked like I must leave school, but I kept praying. God answered me, and He gave me work. All I have to do is help one of the teachers take care of the younger children before school, and after school, and sometimes during school, and I get free meals and accommodation at school. Thank God.

Suchinda: What is my life like now? I want to tell you. As I learned from your lessons, I have come to know God. Now I know what it is to have real peace in my life. When I have problems I pray as Jesus taught us. After praying I feel good. I think that what makes me happy is when I trust God and give the problems to Him.

Somchai: I went to the church you told me about. My first time there, I feel that God is with me and touched me. I felt warm in my heart when I listened to the songs we sang in the church. It is like God was very close to me. Please pray I can go again.

Pakpen: I prayed for Jesus to give me wisdom in my exam, and He answered. I passed, and got 3rd highest marks in the class too. Exciting for me, Thank you Jesus.

Portu: I feel better now that I know Jesus, and I’m doing better at school too. I’ve learnt to pray before exams. Whenever I have problems I pray to God. And things do get better. I’m telling you the truth. Jesus can always help us.

Hassya: Most of my friends have left our village, and I’m feeling lonely, and also anxious about things. But every time I start reading the Bible you sent me, all those fears go and I feel better. Sometimes I cry as I read it, but I also get encouraged. I want to follow Jesus. Can you pray for me.

Wilai: I lost my last lesson, and I couldn’t remember your address. For weeks I’ve prayed I could find your address. And today you sent me the lesson again.

Sunachar: I haven’t done well at school, but after studying with you I learnt that Jesus can help me. So I prayed and this term I passed all my exams.

Wichuda: One day my jeans disappeared. I searched everywhere but couldn’t find them. All my family helped look – nearly all day. But with no success. I remembered finally to pray and ask God’s help. Then immediately we found them. God does care.

Arunya: I used to never think before doing things. I did things wrong, and then realised afterwards. But since I’ve come to know Jesus this has changed. Now before I decide to do anything I pray, as I know its easy for me to make mistakes. And now that I know Jesus I can admit my mistakes and learn from them. That’s really true.

Buhayn: I am the only one at my school who studies with you. I’ve tried to get some of my friends to join me, but no one was interested. So I asked God to make my friends want to know Him. Now there are 6 of my friends who’ve told me they want to get your lessons too. So here are all their names…

Sutarporn: I used to have trouble at school, because I didn’t want to study. So my marks were very low. But now I have God’s Spirit in me, and I feel Him telling me to study. So I’ve started working harder at school, and in our last exams I got over 90%.

Nongrewadee: I don’t do well at school, so I was excited when you said Jesus can help us study. Last month the teacher made me write down what she said in English. I just couldn’t do it, and was totally discouraged. Then I remembered about Jesus, and I’ve been asking Him to help me. Also I started doing extra work for English. Yesterday our teacher made us write English dictation, I understood every word, and got them all right. That helps me be sure that God can help me. Thank you God.

Penapon, mother of Borlune: My daughter received your lessons, but she was still young so I helped her do them. Through them I myself became a Christian. My daughter was born with a serious blood disease. After I became a Christian I started praying for God to heal her. For a year I prayed, and slowly she got better. Now she is totally healed. Now can you pray for my husband to become a Christian too.

Kulnan: I used to get bullied a lot at school. It hurt so much. I didn’t know what to do and I felt very alone. Finally I remembered to pray, and asked Jesus to make the bullying stop. That day after I prayed, the teacher saw them do it and helped me, and they haven’t done it since.

Saiyut: I do enjoy learning about Jesus through your lessons. I still remember when you came to my school. It was fun, and different from anything I’d seen or heard. I still remember that song you taught, “Jesus loves us all”. Even now if I’m feeling discouraged I think of that song, and often sing it. That truth always lifts my spirits.

Wirat: Your lessons have helped me a lot. I’m in the Church, and now I teach the young children so I use your lessons to teach them, and they enjoy them too.

Sangjan: “One day out in our rice field a big poisonous snake came at me. My friend saw it in time and shouted, and the snake and I both fled from each other! I think God helped my friend see it.”

Suparat: One day, I was on the back of my mother’s motorcycle, going to Mae-sai. We turned into a small street and a truck came straight at us. Somehow we escaped. I don’t know how, but I believe that God helped us and He protected us.
